California permitting and state plan review

California has its own review paths. Schools and community colleges go to DSA. Hospitals and many healthcare buildings go to HCAI, formerly OSHPD. Some small residential projects can use a private plan reviewer under AB 253. These guides explain each path and how to check a set before you submit it.
