Autodesk Revit
Revit models stored in Autodesk Construction Cloud open to their sheets in the Autodesk picker. Choose Autodesk in your Groundbook draft, open a model, and select the sheets you need. Each sheet comes in as a drawing, and one import can mix sheets, PDFs, and DWGs.
SharePoint / OneDrive
Choose SharePoint / OneDrive in your Groundbook draft and sign in with Microsoft. Browse your OneDrive files or SharePoint document libraries, select PDFs or DWGs, and import them.
Google Drive
Choose Google Drive in your Groundbook draft and connect your Google account. Pick PDFs or DWGs in the Google Drive window, then choose Select to add them to the draft.
Box
Choose Box in your Groundbook draft and connect your account. Browse folders or search for PDFs and DWGs, select the files for your review, and import them.
Dropbox
Choose Dropbox in your Groundbook draft and connect your account. Browse your folders, select the PDFs or DWGs you need, and import them into the draft.
Egnyte
Choose Egnyte in your Groundbook draft and enter your company’s Egnyte domain. Allow access on Egnyte, browse your folders, select PDFs or DWGs from one or more folders, and import them.
Bluebeam Studio
Your firm sets up its own Bluebeam app once, on a Core, Complete, or Max subscription. Then choose Bluebeam in your Groundbook draft, sign in with your Bluebeam ID, open a Studio Project, and import the PDFs or DWGs you need.
Bentley ProjectWise
Choose Bentley ProjectWise in your Groundbook draft and enter your Web Services Gateway address, which your ProjectWise administrator has. Sign in with your Bentley account, browse your datasources and folders, select the PDFs or DWGs you need, and import them.
Fieldwire
Choose Fieldwire in your Groundbook draft and paste an API token from your Fieldwire account settings; your Fieldwire plan needs API access. Browse a project’s Plans and Files, select the plan sheets, PDFs, or DWGs you need, and import them. Each plan sheet comes in as its own drawing. After the review, send the issues back as Fieldwire tasks, each pinned on the plan where the problem is, and see their Fieldwire status in Groundbook.
Start a new project: Email PDF or DWG files to new.project@plans.groundbook.ai, even before signup. New users receive a signup link to verify their email and access their draft.
Add to an existing draft: Choose Email in the project, copy its address, and send PDF or DWG attachments there before starting the review.

A few practical details
Which file types can I upload?
We accept PDF and DWG files. Upload DWGs directly; we convert them to PDF for review and preview and keep the originals available to download. You can include both file types in one project.
Can I email plans before signing up?
Yes. Send or forward PDF or DWG attachments to new.project@plans.groundbook.ai. We’ll save your files and email you a signup link. Sign up and verify the same email address you sent from; each email then becomes a new draft project. You don’t need to resend the files. If you already have an account, send from your verified Groundbook email address to create a new draft directly.
Will changes to my source files sync automatically?
Import copies the files you select into your project. If the source files change, import the revised files for your next review.
Does Groundbook change files in the connected app?
No. These connections copy files into your project for review, and your source files stay where they are. With Fieldwire you can also send the issues back as tasks, pinned on the plans; nothing else is written to your connected apps.
What if I cannot connect my account?
Your organization may require an administrator to approve access. If a connection is unavailable, contact us for help. You can also upload PDF or DWG files directly or add them by email.
